Types Of Bridal Gowns

Getting married has always been a dream of any girl in this world. But planning a wedding isn’t always that easy, for planning one really needs some time and dedication. But if you are getting married for the first time then it would be the time of your life, not to mention you would have a blast looking for that perfect bridal gowns you would use when you will walk down the aisle. You do need to put in mind that when choosing the right dress you need to go for the dresses that would suit your body.

Ball Gown – A ball gown or full skirt is great for formal weddings, the gown has a fine top narrow waist and a full middle. This type of dress would be great for women that have an hour glass figure. If you have a large breast and a thin waist with traditional hips this would be that perfect thing for you!

Empire Waist – This dress is tightly fitted on the bust line and the rest of the dress would fall straight to the ground. This has been used on weddings for centuries now and has been a popular choice for women with smaller breasts, lack in height and doesn’t have that defined curves. The tightly fitted bust line creates the illusion of having a much larger breast and defined body; the flowing of the dress eliminates the focus on the rest of the body parts and focuses all the attention to the breasts.

A Line – The A line or what some other’s call the Princess dress is a very classic design mostly used by brides. This kind of dress can be used in formal or not-so formal weddings. The elegance of the A Line dress really speaks for itself, obviously it is called the A Line dress due to the fact that it looks like the Letter A. This would be great for girls having a contoured body from chest to hips.

Fishtail – The fishtail or Mermaid dress has garnered its fame for the past years, for it has slowly becoming the most popular used gowns by brides on their wedding. They mimic the shape of a mermaid’s body; they are designed to fit the whole body and would typically have a wider lower part on the knees thus “mermaid dress”. The elegance of the mermaid gown has always been sought after by brides of all backgrounds.

As you can see these is just a fraction of the wedding dress available on the market. These are the most commonly used designs, but you can always have your own design that would suit your wedding the way you want it to be. It would be great to have a good wedding designer with you so that you can coordinate on what your gown would look like and what motif would be great for your wedding. If you are getting married make sure that you would have enough time to prepare everything from your wedding gown to what your entourage would wear.
